Dylan Craig Omaha, Nebraska I was raised on the Missouri river with my first time being when I was just 2 weeks old. I have a strong love and an even stronger respect for the water. I also love riding my motorcycle, playing golf, snowboarding, or just being outside with my friends. The Mayfly Project is something I am very excited to be a part of so I can help           kids learn how to Fly Fish and give them an escape from everyday life.

Eric Ramos Omaha, Nebraska I'm a native of Jersey City, NJ, and that's where I was first exposed to both conventional fresh & saltwater fishing. I was transplanted to Nebraska via the Air Force, serving mainly in the southeast Asian theater. An airman I supervised at Offutt Air Force Base who was outdoors-oriented, asked if I wanted to fish. We started to fish & hunt, and it eventually evolved into flyfishing & flytying. I focus mainly on flyfishing/flytying for carp, but will fish for anything that'll take a fly. When I separated from the military, my wife & I decided to stay in the Omaha area, to have a good environment for the kids to grow up in. Flyfishing & hunting has always been an outlet for me, to get away from any of the stressors we call life. For the brief moment, I'm concentrated on what I'm pursuing. Even if I don't land or harvest anything, just being outdoors refreshes my soul. I found The Mayfly Project while volunteering with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. My goals are to pass on the flyfishing skills to the kids, build confidence & self-initiative, and encourage/empower them to learn new skill-sets, they can use into adulthood.
